Roxnn aims to publish accurate information and to correct material factual errors when they are identified. This page explains how we approach verification, article updates, and correction requests.
Our Fact-Checking Approach
The verification process depends on the type of story being covered. Before publishing material factual claims, we aim to consult sources that are appropriate to the subject and reasonably reliable.
Potential sources may include:
- Official company websites, newsrooms, and press releases.
- Official product pages, manuals, and technical documentation.
- Government departments and public agencies.
- Regulatory filings and public records.
- Court documents and legal filings.
- Verified public statements and official social accounts.
- Academic or institutional research where relevant.
- Established news organizations and specialist publications.
Primary and Secondary Sources
When possible, we prefer original or primary sources for significant claims. Secondary reporting may also be used when it provides relevant context, independent confirmation, or information unavailable directly from the primary source.
Information That Cannot Yet Be Confirmed
Some developing stories, technology leaks, release plans, and early reports cannot be independently confirmed at the time of publication.
In these situations, we aim to make the uncertainty clear and attribute the information to its source rather than presenting it as independently confirmed fact.
Breaking News
Breaking news is often published while information is still developing. An article may therefore be updated as additional verified details become available.
We aim not to fill gaps in available information with unsupported assumptions simply to make a story appear complete.
What We Consider a Material Error
A material error is an error that could meaningfully change a reader’s understanding of the story. Examples may include an incorrect name, date, price, product specification, quotation, legal status, financial figure, event outcome, or other significant factual claim.
Corrections
If a material factual error is confirmed, we aim to correct the relevant information within the article.
Depending on the seriousness and nature of the correction, the article may also include an explanatory update or correction note.
Minor Edits
Minor edits that do not materially change the meaning of an article—such as spelling, grammar, formatting, punctuation, broken links, or clarity improvements—may be made without a separate correction notice.
Article Updates
An article may be updated when important new information becomes available. Where a substantial update has been made, the page may display an updated date.
Changing a date alone should not be used to make old information appear newly reported when the article has not been meaningfully updated.

Editorial Review
Submitting a correction request does not automatically mean that content will be changed. We aim to review the available evidence and make corrections when warranted.
