This Editorial Policy explains the principles Roxnn aims to follow when researching, preparing, reviewing, publishing, and updating editorial content.
Editorial Purpose
Roxnn aims to create content primarily for readers. Our articles should help readers understand a subject, follow an important development, evaluate relevant information, or obtain useful context that goes beyond a headline.
We do not aim to publish articles solely because a keyword is trending or because a topic may attract search traffic. Topics should have a reasonable connection to Roxnn’s audience and editorial focus.
Accuracy
We aim to make reasonable efforts to verify important factual claims before publication. The level of verification may vary depending on the nature of the subject, whether the story is breaking, and the availability of reliable information.
Facts, allegations, opinions, estimates, and unconfirmed reports should be distinguished from one another wherever that distinction is material to the reader.
Sources and Attribution
Sources may include official company announcements, technical documentation, product pages, government agencies, regulatory bodies, public filings, court documents, verified public statements, research material, and reputable news organizations.
When an important claim originates from another source, we aim to provide appropriate attribution and, where useful, a link to the original or authoritative source.
We prefer primary sources when they are reasonably available and appropriate for the claim being reported.
Breaking and Developing News
Breaking stories can change quickly. Early information may be incomplete, disputed, corrected, or expanded as events develop.
When reporting a developing story, we aim to identify uncertainty clearly and update material information when reliable new facts become available.
Leaks, Rumors and Unconfirmed Claims
Roxnn may occasionally cover credible leaks, rumors, early product information, or reports concerning future technology.
Such information should be identified using appropriate language such as “reported,” “rumored,” “leaked,” “expected,” or “unconfirmed.” A rumor should not be converted into a confirmed statement simply for a stronger headline.
Headlines and Thumbnails
Headlines and visual presentation should accurately reflect the article. We aim to avoid materially misleading headlines, fabricated quotations, false urgency, or images that create an incorrect impression of what has actually occurred.
Originality and Added Value
When an article is based on information available elsewhere, it should aim to provide additional value through explanation, organization, comparison, context, analysis, clarification, or other useful information rather than merely reproducing or lightly rewriting another publication.
Reviews and Comparisons
Where Roxnn publishes reviews or comparisons, the article should clearly distinguish between information based on direct experience and information derived from specifications, documentation, demonstrations, or other sources.
We should not imply that a product was personally tested when it was not.
Financial and Cryptocurrency Topics
Financial markets and cryptocurrency topics can affect a reader’s financial decisions. For these subjects, we aim to prioritize factual reporting, official documentation, regulatory information, and clearly identified analysis.
Roxnn does not intend general editorial content to serve as personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
Sponsored Content and Commercial Relationships
Advertising or commercial relationships should not be disguised as independent editorial reporting.
If an article is sponsored, paid for, or materially influenced by a commercial relationship, Roxnn aims to provide an appropriate and reasonably visible disclosure.
Use of AI and Digital Tools
Roxnn may use digital tools, including AI-assisted tools, to support parts of the editorial workflow such as research organization, drafting assistance, summarization, editing, formatting, translation, transcription, or image preparation.
AI-generated output should not automatically be treated as verified fact. Material factual claims should be checked against appropriate sources before publication.
Responsibility for published content remains with Roxnn regardless of which tools were used during its preparation.
Corrections and Updates
When a material factual error is identified, we aim to investigate and correct it. Articles may also be updated when substantial new information becomes available.
More information is available in our Fact-Checking & Corrections Policy.
